Welcome to my little kitchen! :) So glad to have ya here with me! To learn more about me and my food philosophy, please check out my real food story!
Welcome one and all to my Blogger Spotlight series, where I pry into the private lives of my favorite bloggers just for you (and my sick, sick mind)!
Without further ado….
Bernadette from My Crazy Kitchen is one of the very first bloggers I ran into when I first started working on The Aliso Kitchen in earnest. It was easy to see her excitement for life and family on this side of the screen, which is just one of the many reasons I’ve continued following her and her blog. She’s a mom with a little attitude, which makes her site a nice respite from the insanity of everyday life. I feel like I should just pour myself a mug of coffee or bowl of her homemade chili and start gabbing when I’m on her page! That’s a pretty amazing feeling to evoke from afar.
Obviously, she’s perfect for the Blogger Spotlight.
Let’s see what she had to say:
What do you blog about?
Cooking and more!
For how long have you been blogging?
For 8 months
Why did you start this website?
I started my Facebook page, My Crazy Kitchen in October of 2011 after several people asked me for my recipes within the same day. At the time I had no idea how big it would become, and the blog was the next step.
What one piece of advice do you have for our readers?
Moderation is more important than all these strict, non allergy related, diets out there. You can eat something that is not healthy as long as you don’t do it all day, every day.
What inspires you to keep going?
Am I a crazy person? Yes, hence the name! My love for creating new recipes and creating recipes for my two friends with a metabolic disorder called PKU keeps me going.
Bernadette, thank you so much for sharing with us!
