Welcome to my little kitchen! :) So glad to have ya here with me! To learn more about me and my food philosophy, please check out my real food story!
Since I love you (and who wouldn’t, by the way??), I like to do everything I can to bring goodness into your life.
And fortunately for us both, this special bundle of goodness fell right into my lap!
You see, there’s this wonderful program called Cooking Planit. It’s an app you download to your iPhone, iPad or computer, that tells you exactly how to follow specific recipes. This isn’t just some print-out, or cheat sheet. It actually tells you to do this now and do that next.
This is perfect for home cooks who always seem to…miss a step.
(If you’re smirking, you certainly know what I’m talking about!)
Just think about it for a second. How many times have you forgot to add the eggs, oil, or milk, totally spaced on preheating the oven, or just missed those last 3 steps entirely?
I certainly have! How nice would it be to have something there for you, ready to say, “Hey, Rachael, um…yeah…I think those were supposed to be shallots and not garlic…” [Note: Cooking Planit isn't sassy like me, and can't see what you're doing, but it does talk!]
It’s like driving to a new place all alone in the pre-GPS days. One wrong turn, and there’s no coming back from it. Unfortunately, recipes can be very unforgiving. Even if you’re comfortable in the kitchen, this program gives you that extra bit of assistance.
Plus, you’ll wow your friends and family with awesome meals delivered right on time. No more calling in for pizza about you burn dinner!
In order to spread the word and get those juices a-flowin’, Cooking Planit has sparked off an insanely big giveaway with 50 different bloggers. Yes, 50. For 50 different sets of 26 spices. I did the math. That means they are giving away 1,300 jars of spices to 50 different people. Oh yeah, and each of these sets retails for about $100. We can talk more numbers, or we can get into the details.
What’s included in the spice set?
The top 26 spices every kitchen should have:
- Ground Cumin
- Basil
- Saigon Cinnamon
- Bay Leaves

- Smoked Paprika
- Thyme
- Garlic Powder
- Mediterranean Oregano
- Onion Powder
- Rosemary
- Nutmeg Powder
- Red Pepper Flakes
- Coriander Powder
- Cayenne Pepper
- Ground Cloves
- Chinese Five Spice
- Turmeric
- Curry Powder
- Yellow Mustard
- Pennsylvania Pepper
- Cardamon Powder
- Cajun Seasoning
- Allspice Powder
- Hill Country Chili Powder
- Ginger Root Powder
- Manzanillo Mexico Seasoning
Basically, two bloggers will launch two giveaways everyday for the next few weeks.
How do *I* feel about spices? I think they’re the most important part of your kitchen!
