Wow…what a month! I took part-time employment out of the house (the first time in over a year) so naturally, my numbers should be lower.
But, I also found out that I offended AdSense in some terrible way, which resulted in my account being shut down temporarily. Those two weeks cost me ALL of the income I’d earned up until the beginning of April (around $37), but still.
Despite that, my largest source of income was from AdSense anyway. I earned…nothing from everyone else.
It’s sad, but oh well. I’m in the process of getting all the necessary codes to join the Village Green Network, so hopefully that’ll help make this blog something I can really focus on!
Here’s the breakdown of blog income for April:
AdSense - $11.60
Lijit - $0.12
Disqus Discovery: $0.02
Amazon - $0.00
Cultures for Health affiliate - $0.00 (10 total clicks, no commissions. Might not be best for me, but could do well in the future.)
Mountain Rose Herbs affiliate - $0.00 (I really like this company, but haven’t had any clicks or commissions. It might not be the right affiliate program for me.)
Tropical Traditions referral program - $0.00 in gift certificates
VitaCost Affiliate Program: $0.00
VitaCost Rewards: $0.00 credit
(Basically, you earn a $10 credit towards a purchase of $30 or more if you follow my referral link. Then, I get $10 credit, too! I fell in love with VitaCost last month, and made two stock-up purchases. Price check before buying food on Amazon!)
Total – $11.74
Here are the traffic stats from April:
Total page views: 1,353 (-)
Average daily page views: 45 (-)
Facebook fans: 791 (+)
Twitter followers: 706 (+)
Pinterest followers: 546 (+)
Now that I’ve acclimated to a new work schedule, blogging should go back to normal, which means the stats should, too.
